Furniture

Biru Beeru’s journey in furniture design began over 40 years ago with Yusman Siswandi. Inspired by his love of antiques, Yusman first designed pieces for his own home—works that later evolved into a collection cherished beyond his walls.

All of our furniture is produced in-house at our workshop in Solo, where artisans carry forward this legacy of craft. Each piece is created in limited quantities, reflecting both the rarity of the materials and the time required for true workmanship. Our primary wood, teak, is sourced responsibly from inactive plantations in Java, complemented by other noble woods such as Ambon, Suar, and Sonokeling.

Details define our work. From credenzas with intricate spirals to finely carved lines, every ornament is hand-carved by artisans. No two pieces are ever identical—each is a singular creation, impossible to mass-produce, and imbued with the authenticity of handcraft.

From Us, With Love

We don't write often, but when we do, it's something special - new pieces, slow stories, and heartfelt invites, just for you. We'd love to stay in touch.
