Garments & Fabrics 

Biru Beeru's garments & fabrics range from hand-dyed batik scarves and sarongs to placemats and napkins. Each piece is delicate and requires gentle care:

• Hand wash in cold water using mild soap only
• Do not bleach
• Iron as needed
• hang dry in the shade, avoid direct sunlight

Note: Some natural dyes, such as indigo and secang, may cause slight color bleeding during the first few washes.

Wood

Biru Beeru's wooden tableware is finished with natural shellac, which may lose its shine over time. To maintain its luster:

• Gently rub with a soft cloth and a small amount of olive oil, coconut oil, or candlenut oil
• Rinse or wipe clean, and dry immediately
• Avoid soaking in water

Ceramics

Biru Beeru's ceramic tableware pieces are thin and delicate. Each item is fired up to 1200°C with non-lead glazes, making them food-safe.

• Dishwasher safe (avoid over-stacking)
• Microwave safe
• Not oven safe
• Avoid exposing ceramics to sudden temperature changes - for example, placing them in the microwave directly from the freezer
