Garments & Fabrics
Biru Beeru's garments & fabrics ranges from batik scarves, and sarongs to placemats and napkins. Each item is delicate and requires special care.
- Cold hand wash using mild soap only
- Do not bleach
- Can be ironed
- hand dry and avoid direct sunlight
Please note the color might run slightly after the first few washes, especially items that are using dyes ie. indigo and secang.
Wood
Biru Beeru's wooden tableware pieces are finished with shellac, which could wear off over time losing its shine. To maintain its shine, rub the product with olive oil/ coconut oil/ candlenut oil with a piece of cloth. Wash the product to clean and dry immediately. Refrain from soaking it in water.
Ceramics
Biru Beeru's ceramic tableware pieces are thin and delicate. Each item is fired up to 1200 C with non-lead glaze, making them food grade.
- Dishwasher safe (do not over-stack)
- Microwave safe
- Not Oven safe
- Do not expose our ceramic pieces to extreme temperatures, eg. putting your ceramic in the microwave directly from the freezer
